The shotgun rounds used in granny 3 are actually bean bag rounds because when grandpa shoots you he doesn't kill you, which means that the rounds are bean bag rounds as normal shotgun rounds would have instantly sent the player to the game over. This means granny 3 is the only game in the trilogy that uses bean bag rounds.
