Normally, I suck at puzzle games, but the sandbox nature of this one makes it really special. Even when you're stuck on a puzzle, you can always try the next island. The game isn't shy about offering you a really tough challenge early on, and I'm glad it does so as coming back with new found knowledge and a better understanding of the science of beans.

wow, a lot to love here! lots of tight, inventive puzzle design that's difficult but also one beanillion times more accessible than its contemporaries. it does a great job of building on itself consistently without feeling overwhelming. also something about working with monsters that have their own little rules and logic satisfies my brain in a way that abstract Puzzle Shapes just don't!

all that wrapped up in a shell of terminally academic research troubles. it's great. i didn't 100% it (and probably never will) but the normal ending came right around the time i felt like i'd had my fill of the game and i'm happy to sing its praises!
