Yeah, this is basically where I am on considering WoW. I can't really afford the whole season pass right now, but buying WoW by itself basically means I'm committing to buying them all piecemeal, or waiting until the entire season pass is released so I can get the bundle.

But i agree, blocking heralds by expansion pass 2 is strange move. I would gladly purchased both heralds and dlc 1, but now will wait untill dlc 2 or 3 release
Or just look at this game. Since it already had a season of DLC and everything went fine. Why would I look at another game when this game is already an example of what will come?
To be fair the content isn't that unannounced. We have a rough idea of what were getting, and all the season 1 DLC's were good. If you really just care about the Heralds they will more than likely be on sale separately since they did not advertise them as exclusive.
