I'm confused....I bought this package because it's description read :

"Enter the world of the ultimate assassin. HITMAN World of Assassination brings together the best of HITMAN, HITMAN 2 and HITMAN 3 including the main campaign, contract mode, escalations, elusive target arcades and the roguelike inspired game mode HITMAN: Freelancer."

So it's not, imo, an unreasonable expectation to have access to all that's stipulated above.

I get access to the initial Hitman game, but when I try an access any of the other content, it's telling me to buy another expansion pack...which leaves me wondering WTF it is I've just bought? Because if it's just Hitman 1, I've feel I've been duped.

I'm obviously missing something here and I'd appreciate someone explaining it to me.

I have enjoyed the previous Hitman titles and have spent over 150 hours playing the second game of the trilogy, so I was really looking forward to playing Hitman 3, especially since it has been out for a while now. However, when I finally wanted to play the third installment, I couldn't access the first mission, even though I had purchased the base game—at least that's what I thought, because that's exactly what it says in my library. The best part is, I also can't play the missions from Hitman 2 within Hitman 3, because if I wanted to access them, I would need to purchase the DLC.
Now I kind of feel scammed.

The description is misleading about what you actually get. From the summary on the main page, you might assume that you're getting the content of all three games, but if you scroll down, you'll notice that in reality, you're only getting the maps from the first game. While the deal itself isn't bad, this, combined with the fact that there's no easy way to get the remaining maps without paying the full price for all three games, makes it feel like you're paying to play a demo.
