    Anomalies in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl are energy phenomena you can see all around the Zone. They are very hazardous and can kill both you, other stalkers, and even creatures.

    There are various types of anomalies (electrical, fire, chemical, etc), and you should be very cautious while near them. Your bolt will help you spot, activate/deactivate, and navigate through them.

    Also, inside anomalies, you can find artifacts.

  2. What are artifacts in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl? Can you tell more about them?

    Artifacts in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl are another mystery of the Zone. Unique items, that have been changed by the conditions of this place, that you can get from anomalies.

    Artifacts can improve different player stats, but sometimes it will come at a cost. Or you can just sell them for a great price.

  3. Will there be new factions and characters? Will the old ones remain?

    You’ll see both familiar and new faces. The same applies to the factions of the Zone. Don’t forget that the situation in the Zone is never stable, and it is really hard to predict who’s managed to survive and those who didn’t make it.

  4. What is A-Life?

    Often, the game world exists only in the player's field of view. A-Life 2.0 is a simulation system for life in the Zone. Factions and mutants are fighting for living space, migrating, capturing new places, or retreating to safer areas.

    A-Life is what makes Zone truly alive and unpredictable.

  5. Will there be any new mutants in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl?

    Yes, there will be both old and new mutants. In addition, monsters of the same species will be visually different depending on the area of habitat.

  6. What locations will we be able to visit through the game?

    As before, the events of the game will take place on the territory of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. There will be 20 regions, each with its own unique biom. Cordon, Duga, Prypiat, and hundreds of other familiar and new locations will be open up for exploration.

    There are more than 30 types of firearms in the game, each one with its own set of modifications. The main character will be able to install some of them while in combat, while the more complex and advanced upgrades will be available only through the technician.

  12. Does the game have a day and night cycle, as well as dynamic weather changes?

    Yes. The Zone is a real place, so you'll be able to have a stroll day and night, with different weather conditions.

  13. Is it possible to turn off the HUD or its parts for better immersion?

    This is something you can do in “Settings”. You can turn it off completely, or switch off different parts of the HUD separately, such as Threat Indicator, Hit Indicator, Compass, Ammo Counter, and more.

    Also, you won't see what you don't need: the health bar will be visible only when your health is not 100% full, or you are getting damaged at the moment. You will see a bullet count when you are reloading and shooting.

  14. The description of the pre-order mentions weapons and clothing skins. So should we wait for pink camouflage and overhead wings stuff?

    There will be the ability to change gear's appearance, but only within the game world laws and logic. Pink camouflage will not merge with the bleak landscape of the Zone, and overhead wings will peek over the shelters. Of course, skins will not have any advantages or gameplay impact.

  15. Will there be a multiplayer mode in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl?

    Yes, the multiplayer will be added to the game with a free update soon after the release.

  16. Will it be possible to create mods?
