If you have arachnophobia, you are out of luck with this one.

Rather hesitant recommend. TL:DR: Looks good, doesn't play good.


+ Great visuals and audio
+ Good OST
+ Good setting/theme


* Anything humanoid looks pretty rough, but I didn't mind it personally
* Story isn't very impactful


- Drags out a bit too long
- No fast travel, backtracking becomes a pain
- Died to a bug after not being able to save for a while, thankfully one-time

- Pointless feeling collectibles such as "max hp +1" (you start with 100) or "max ammo +2", these are hidden in each level, but I think the game might be more enjoyable if they didn't even exist, considering how little they do and hinder you from focusing on environments instead of searching for them

- Indie jank, such as:

• Player character keeps getting stuck to terrain

• Gameplay with shooting doesn't feel great. While the game is easy, gravity and water end up killing you more than anything else, get used to quick-loading

• Quick-saving is wonky, can't save if in combat, or if on uneven terrain, which you're on often

• Lot of areas are too big or lack landmarks, you easily end up lost or turned around

• Enemy AI sucks, you spend most of combat kiting them out of their aggro range and killing them that way easily, they also get stuck to terrain


Game was most enjoyable when one didn't have to deal with the basic combat and rather dealt against beings that couldn't be harmed but had to be avoided instead, as world setting and atmosphere is where the game shines most.

Almost whole game can be completed with the starting weapon, so feel free to spam ammo provided, as you should be set either way. Parts where you need something else, provide ammo required.

Price is fair, but you have to be the kind of person who enjoys themes more than gameplay, for this to remain enjoyable for you. I am not, but I still acknowledge the effort put in.
