1. The resolution will be locked when playing (the game will be restored after leaving the game), and the low resolution will be maintained if the game is switched back to the desktop midway.
   
2. Languages ​​other than Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese are not supported.
   
3. No support for handle operation, Steam achievements, 16:9 screen, auto save, etc.
   
4. The game may not be able to run properly due to not supporting some systems and hardware.
   
5. Provide Steam cloud archive, Steam version and DVD version are independently archived (do not mix them).

1. Start the game on Steam, and click "Advanced" after the startup interface appears.
2. After the following interface appears, click "Install DLC" (you can also download it directly from the Steam page).

The long-running historical fantasy franchise Xuan-Yuan Sword is one of the most successful games IP in Chinese-speaking territories. Mists Beyond the Mountains, its third installment, was originally released in 1999; this remaster edition brings the original to new platforms, respecting the original art, rich story rooted in Chinese fantasy and real historical events, and deep gameplay that made Mists Beyond the Mountains a critical and commercial success.

The game offers free exploration of its vast world, along with epic fights based on the Active Time Battle system, also features a unique crafting system: players can of course gather ingredients to craft new gear, but they can also use an item called the Spirit Fusion Pot to capture enemies in battles, which in turn can be used in special Altars to craft not only items but monsters too. Using Eastern or Western altars brings different results to the final item.
