Unable to play after updating

I'm just stuck at the "Create account or Sign In" screen
The first button does nothing and the Sign In does not recognize my account

yeah after the latest update, I found it instantly opened a new tab asking me to sign into Epic Games 🤦 and still says "Failed to Login" when I click on Multiplayer...

Verifying files worked for me, also if you log into Epic before opening the game works too.

where does the "Steam Only" come up?

After verifying a new window with the option pops up
