Specific feedback about Perudo game.
I hope devs sift through steam forum and this gets noticed.

CL due to its nature is going to have a lot of comparing with Sea Dogs and alike games, and this thread is not an exception.

In Sea Dogs CoAS tavern games hit sweet spot in my opinion, featuring easy to grasp and fast card and dice combination games. Perudo, while historical, suffers from some issues.

1. Game is for four as opposed to 1v1. Combined with somewhat convoluted rules and letargic turn passing, ths makes game way too long and takes too much effort both to win and loose. With things how they are, in open-world release player will be better off in any way except Luck grind by just going to jungle and hacking some bandits.
2. (1) is made worse by the fact that tavern games are meant to be minor side activity, not gameplay centerpiece.

Sadly, I have no ready solution, which would improve things while keeping rules. Given that you made a whole cartoon about game, you probably are proud with its implementation, and it is good - if you come to game exclusively to play perudo, that is. Maybe there should be some game rule in difficulty menu which replaces historical stuff with simplified stuff.

I used to play tavern games occasionally in CoAS when low on funds and/or to train luck, but I am sure not going to indulge in Perudo in same circumstances.

I agree. Perudo while sitting with a few beers and friends could be a fun way to pass the night, but as part of this game it take way toooo long to play just one time. And unless you're betting big time, to long to make any real money. While I do enjoy the game itself, I feel my time is better spent at sea or on a trade mission.
