We are at the beginning of the game after the first interrogation and after we search sor sodus point on the computer we cant search for any of the schools weve tried everything but no variation of the schools seem to work. please help

I'm not sure if this is a bug or part of the game and I'm completely missing something, but me and my partner can't compare any of our contradictory lines after the first round of interrogation. There's no text in the white box that's to the left of the recorded interrogation lines and there's no place to select the lines that are contradictory, the left side of that folder is completely empty in fact.
