Haven't had this much fun with a tactics game since Into the Breach.

I'm not big into roguelike/rougelite but I love strategy games and I like this game quite a bit.
At first it feels weirdly clunky and "hard" but if you play less like other turn based strategies and actually use the game's mechanic which forces you to move a lot, the game will start to make sense.
Some skills and character combinations can be mad fun. For example having Ralf spamming the flying punch while Clark just jumping around the area syncing with him can erase every enemy in the map and almost feels like cheating.
About bugs, I did encounter some. I think the game freezes once, the battle music didn't stop so it plays along with the map music, some animation errors like characters falling off the ledge while jumping and a boss being unable to be targeted. I did encounter all this at least once in my 30 hours play time, and it did not interfere with my play that much. But I only speak for myself. Others have reported plenty more of bugs on the forum and other reviews so you can do your own research.
Overall pretty fun, I would recommend.
BTW I got all the characters and reached the true ending, but on the lowest difficulty and haven't played any of the higher ones.

Excellent tactical roguelike, I'm having a blast. The art is wonderful and the animations are incredibly charming. I'm a huge fan of the Loony Tunes energy to combat, it operates off of cartoon logic a lot of the time, meaning abilities are creative, weird, and often quite funny.

Things move quickly and without friction, which sets this apart from a lot of similar games. You get into the game quickly, you grab your guys, and you're into a mission in a snap. I love it.

This has been a game where I can just fire it up and have fun. That is not the case for a lot of strategy games, and it's a testament to well-deserved and kintetic game.

As others have said, this is very similar to Into the Breach, which I consider a create compliment.
