Review from the perspective of a completionist:

Pretty easy overall - done within 14 hours. Unfortunately, you do have to replay levels a bunch of time at the end to accrue enough coins to buy all the hats and artwork for two achievements. This is a necessity even if you play levels twice (once for all collectibles + no deaths clear and then for the master speed time clear) while getting to the end.

Game was pretty fun. It certainly was reminiscent of old platformers. Some of the BGMs surprisingly slaps hard.
