Hello, I wouldn't say it's "too sad" but it has clearly sadness and few really heavy moments depending on what impacts you most

More like lonely when you finished the game, but you will find sadness throughout some parts of the game.

Noone can answer that for you. I had some really bad cries because I can see myself in Nicole.

But unlike you I want games to wreck me forever

I wouldn't say it's too sad, but it does stir up some emotions. I have cried playing Life is Strange 1, but I did not cry playing this game

The ending in my opinion is extremely bittersweet and in my personal opinion one particular part makes it a little unsatisfying. Definitely an emotional game though.

Sometimes it is sad, sometimes it is extremely inspiring and upbeat
the game is structured in three cycles. the first cycle is really very sad. the second cycle (after the first credits) and the third cycle are a little less sad imo, without going into more detail because of spoilers. but yes, it also has its very nice heartwarming moments

If you get all the way through, then no, the game isn't a "net sad", if you will; but it is very heavy on emotion. You probably will cry, I know I did, and I'm a big manly man. But I'd still absolutely recommend it.

@Cole628 Really? I'd recommend you play it again.

So everyone is getting the same outcome on the first ending to credits without saying/spoiling what happened to others.
Thought choices matter or that's just for different dialogue?

Choices in the game only impact on few dialogues and I believe a bit the visuals too when you choose which path to take when running to find Cath. You can interpret these changes to more than what the game shows but it's not a choice game yes
