Like many other people mentioned, a free game definitely worth paying for. Presentation, audio, graphics, narrative, everything is crisp and polished. Gameplay mechanics layer nicely and during the short one hour with this game, you'll have a fair share of exploration, platforming, combat, and adventure. I loved every second of it.

If I had to complain about anything, it would be on how short the timing window for the double jump is. But considering every time you fail a double jump, you can retry it in a matter of seconds, even that complaint is unwarranted.

Sheepy: A Short Adventure is an unexpected well crafted game from the Youtube channel MrSuicideSheep where they host a large amount of electronic music.

As the title implies, Sheepy is a pretty short game, took me a little under 45 minutes to finish a playthrough. It is a charming platformer where you take control of a little sheep as you journey through what seem to be a world where humans are no where to be found. There is little tidbit and lores sprinkled throughout the game that will expose a darker backstory despite the adorable protagonist.

The game features a typical platformer gameplay, as you progress the game, you unlock new abilities to traverse through the level. The controls feel really responsive and the map design is tough enough where it keeps you engaged with figuring out how to use your new abilities to beat the level while also being easy enough where it won't be frustrating to most players.

The art style features a very nice pixel art style with some amazing lighting for a 2D platformer. It is done in the way where despite the cute aesthetic of the sheep, each level feels atmospheric and lonely. What elevate this game greatly is the soundtrack and sound design of the game. Immediately from the first minute of the game, you are greeted with some amazing sound effects that turns a decent game into a whole experience. From the simple ping from double jumping to the bass enhanced ethereal sound effects when something magical happen, it was simply a delight to experience. Eventually you will get to parts of the games where music just starts playing and it gives the same feeling as watching one of those space documentary where it just feels like you're exploring a whole new plane of existence. It is simply breathtaking with how good the music is.

Tie it all together and you get an extremely solid platformer that does not outstay its welcome. This game is also free to play so there is very little reason to not play this game if you are a fan of platformers or if you just want to put on your headset and experience some amazing music and sound effects.
