"Hello,
My name is Amy with Microsoft Customer Support. I hope you are doing well today. I am sorry that you have been running into an issue with your Microsoft Account and I look forward to assisting you.
I understand that you are currently blocked from accessing your Microsoft Account. To ensure that we get you back into your Microsoft Account and able to access your services as quickly as possible, I have removed the blocker on your account. You should now be able to sign into the account with the current password. Your current account block issue should be resolved, but I wanted to provide you some information in case this happens again.
Sometimes this issue can appear if our system detects unusual activity on an account. To help you prepare for this situation, I would like to leave you with some additional steps that will help you resolve the issue on your own if you ever have the same type of error again. If this issue occurs again, just follow the steps I provided below, and you will be able to resolve this issue without having to contact support.
To Regain Access To Your Blocked Account:
First, log into the account via https://login.live.com.
On the screen that says Your account is temporarily blocked, click Continue to proceed to the next screen.
You will then be asked to send a verification code via text message.
In the field shown, you can enter any phone number you have access to that is able to receive text messages.
The phone number used in this case does not need to be one that is already on the account.
If you do not have a phone number that is able to receive texts, consider asking a trusted friend or family member to receive the text for you on their phone number.
The number used for this procedure will not be saved on the account.
This should get you back up and running on your Microsoft Account and, hopefully, help you with any future issues regarding this type of issue.
