+ a bunch of people who worked on Forza Horizon 5 left around late 2022 / early 2023, so Forza Horizon 6 might not even have a team yet.
There's a lot of people who think Fable will impact Horizon...the simple truth is that it won't or not in any meaningful way. Back when Microsoft were looking to give Fable to Playground Games, PGG went out and bought a small active studio purely for the sole purpose of developing Fable (if you go to the playground Games website, you will see it now lists 2 locations where it only listed one before). They now have 2 studios: One for Horizon, one for Fable.
Whilst no-one knows the inner workings of the company, the only overlap I see between those 2 would be if the Fable team needed help with the Forzatech engine...even then, I doubt it would impact Horizon development at all
This is big news for me, I never want play FH5 after EVO release in January 2025. I love GT7 and now I will move on to EVO, I like driving free roam in big map, realistic graphics and support VR like GT7
There have been rumors surrounding this, but no official info whatsoever.
