Koei is too cheap to dub anything anymore, and when they do decide to do one it's done poorly (see Dynasty Warriors 9). They do nothing to help their games/franchises grow and yet at the same time wonder why their games aren't selling so well. They've also started cutting content out of the base games and selling it back as overpriced DLC, whereas in previous entries (from Arland to the end of Dusk) there was barely any DLC that was only a fraction of the price it is now. It didn't start getting bad until the Mysterious titles.

Gust being acquired by Koei is the worst thing that could've happened to them. Their work is being ruined by Koei's greed.

Why just not start fan dub project mod for the game.

Yeah I was sad when they stopped dubbing these in English. Yes, the dubs weren't great, but I vastly prefer hearing English spoken vs Japanese as it's my native language, and it takes me out of the game a little to have it not like that.

However, Ryza sorta blew up and sold a lot, and I think they are probably announcing Ryza 3 next week (most likely new game announcement imo based on success of 1/2), and I really hope English VA is added back. If it was a budget thing, I would think having more success now could get us this back. I love Atelier so I'll buy them regardless, but I really hope this happens ;)

I feel like it would of been weird to release the 3rd game with the same MC and cast only to suddenly have English Voice acting. Buuut, hopefully for the next series
