How many Blames do we need?

SPOILERS AHEAD

I've chosen the path of resurrecting Antea and it's kinda clear that I need to Blame some settlers in order to achieve the goal. But my question is - how many do I need to Blame? Or how many Ascend/Banish cases can I have?

If someone knows the answer please let me know.

I think I've read that you get 23 cases? I guess you have to blame around 20 settlers then ... I've only played through two hauntings and while it was easy to blame the settler in the first case, I just couldn't do it in the second ...

Thanks. So basically we should Blame all except 3 cases, is that it?
That's kinda harsh, I wish we had more freedom.

Well, it IS a difficult and terrible decision to bring Antea back, the game makes that quite clear. At the point where I'm at, I also like that the game does not give you the easy option of "everybody deserves to die".

Yes, you're right. But the way I see it, if in my second playthrough I go for the Ascend option, it will also limit my choices, since now I need to mostly Ascend/Banish settlers. Isn't that true?

It's not necessary to complete all haunting cases for Antea's resurrection.

I know but i want to know how many you must blame out of the 23 to get the resurrection.

You can do 11 haunting cases, plus the three from the main story quests.

I just ended the game and revived Antea with 17 blames. I did all 23 hauntings.

I don't own it on Steam/PC either. I own and play it on a PS5.
There just aren't game forums like Steam has, for console players, so I come here. I buy Steam/PC games sometimes... sometimes I buy a game for PS5. I play on both.
Perhaps SOME of the people who post in various forums here are the same way...
