A new highly requested feature has been added to the online mode – Group Matches! Group Matches allow up to eight players to gather in a single room and play matches against each other. Two players will fight in each match while the others spectate. Players can either join up with friends, join a random public room, or create a room of their own to host other players. Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps who engaged in a fierce battle against demons in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc anime, is now available to purchase as part of a character pack for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles! This pack includes Tengen Uzui as a playable character in Versus mode (both locally and online), along with a set of Tengen Uzui profile photos and quotes.

To commemorate the launch of the Tengen Uzui Character Pack, a free update is now available that adds a new stage – “Entertainment District” – which can be enjoyed in Versus mode.

The third free post-launch content update is now available for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles!

Lower One of the Twelve Kizuki who serve under Kibutsuji’s direct command, Enmu has a twisted personality and savors the sight of people's sorrow and grief. After being granted blood from Kibutsuji himself, he attacked Tanjiro and the other Demon Slayers who went aboard the Mugen Train.

Tamayo researches demons with the hope of taking revenge on Kibutsuji, the man who turned her into one. Yushiro is a young man whose life was saved by Tamayo by turning him into a demon - her only successful attempt thus far in her research.

60fps support added to online custom matches

Today’s update adds the 60fps option to online custom matches! Please note that online ranked matches will remain at 30fps to ensure a fair playing experience. Once again, users will want to read the separate system requirements located on the main store page to know whether their PC will be able to support the 60fps mode.

New Online Missions

Alongside these 2 new playable characters, more online missions have been added to the game for players to earn Kimetsu Points and unlock brand-new rewards.

Our latest update for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles includes several balance changes made to the game. Please read the changelog below:

Combat Changes

• Air Hop Adjustments
  • Shortened homing attack/movement invulnerability window.
  • Lengthened wait time after landing.

• Chase Dash Adjustments
  Can no longer be canceled with Quick Step when far from the opponent. (When near, it will behave as normal.)
• Throw Adjustments
  • Increased damage of throw attack.

Character Changes

• Tanjiro Kamado / Academy Tanjiro
  • Skill 2 (Second Form, Water Wheel): Delayed and reduced mobility/speed of attack hitbox.

• Sakonji Urokodaki
  • Skill 2 (Second Form, Water Wheel): Delayed attack hitbox and removed ability to cancel a long-press modified attack if it does not hit the opponent.

• Nezuko Kamado / Academy Nezuko
  • Support Skill 1 (Crazy Scratching) / Support Skill 2 (Heel Bash): Shortened combo window.
  • Support Skill 1 (Crazy Scratching): Reduced damage dealt to an opponent's guard.
  • These adjustments only apply when Nezuko attacks as a support character.

  • Skill 1 (Ball Kick) / Demon Skill 1 (Sixfold Temari): Increased damage dealt to both an opponent's guard and the opponent guarding.
  • Skill 2 (Spinning Throw): Increased damage dealt to an opponent's guard.
  • Skill 3 (Piercing Kick): Increased damage dealt to an opponent's guard when the button is held down.

Yahaba and Susamaru Join Versus Mode

We are excited to announce the second free post-launch content update is now available for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles!

Yahaba and Susamaru are two demons who team up to attack Tanjiro in Asakusa under Kibutsuji’s orders. Yahaba has eyes on both hands and can generate arrows that manipulate directional forces with his Blood Demon Art, while Susamaru has the appearance of a young girl who attacks enemies with her powerful mari.

60fps Mode Added

Also in this update, a new “60fps mode” has been added. Within this mode, the controllable sections of exploration and combat in Story mode and certain controllable sections in the offline Versus mode will be playable in 60fps. Users will want to read the separate system requirements located on the main store page to know whether their PC will be able to support this new mode.

New Online Missions

Alongside these new playable demons, more online missions have been added to the game for players to complete in order to earn Kimetsu Points and unlock new rewards, such as new Quotes and Profile Photos.

Be sure to download and install the latest update (v1.20) today to unlock all this great new content, which also includes additional bug fixes.

Rui and Akaza Now Playable in Versus Mode

Download the latest update to unlock two new characters to play as in Versus mode, both of whom are members of the powerful Twelve Kizuki: Rui (Lower Five), the demon of Mt. Natagumo, and Akaza (Upper Three), a fighter who appeared during the Mugen Train Arc that only wishes to reach the peak of his strength.

Online Missions

Challenge yourself in a variety of online missions that reward you with Kimetsu Points you can use to unlock fantastic rewards.
