Do you remember those old cumbersome tactical RPG's from the 80's? Miracle Warriors, Shinning Force, Ultima, FF1 and then came the Golden Age with the 90's RPG's and all their anime graphics, massive swords and whacky hairy styles, uniforms, weird as story lines? Well if you do, "Symphony of War" will take you down memory lane and if you don't, you then need to jump on the bandwagon and take a trip back in time when RPG's were exciting and different to what they are today.

The game oozes tons of fun, fantastic art, amazing music and a cheesy corny story line that you thank God you can skip and head straight onto focusing on your units and winning the game, or you can sit back and be entertained if that's your thing to.

There's alot of things wrong with this game especially with the interface, and the menu, omg it is absolutely horrendous but that's what it was like playing these games back in the day, tons of useless clicking!

Symphony of War is absolutely brilliant, if you can stop comparing it to today's RPG's and similar games like Fire Emblem, you will find a RPG that ooze's playability with tons of content and fun, the strategy, depth, the vast amount of unit's progression is unmatched, I honestly cannot recommend it enough and it is so amazing to relive this genre as how they were meant to be and use to be.

Controls terrible with a mouse, menu design from hell. The squat management menus are a nightmare, you cant click on stuff, but need to use the right mouse button to got back to the previous menu hierarchy level.
The UI/UX designer deserves a good lashing for ruining an otherwise good game.

A game from 2022 with blurry pixelated fonts that look like something out of an Atari game, and nobody says anything about it in the reviews. This game was made for 640x480 resolution in 2022. Anything above that and the fonts become a pixelated blurry mess that is barely readable.

What a pathetic joke.
