Now that the Good Night update is live, I wanted to give an update on any prospective localization. (I'm also merging a bunch of threads, so this discussion can exist in 1 place)

As many of you know, Dead Estate started as a browser game (which are rarely/never localized) so the foundations for that was never put into place during early development.

Similarly, when the game was scaled up to a Steam release we had no reason to think the game would sell 1/10th as well as it has, so localization was not an immediate priority.

Now the reality is, the full game has been built up without the initial building blocks needed for localization. With content additions now complete, it is something that can be revisited. But we aren't making any promises, as it's unclear at the stage precisely how much work it will be to rewrite everything necessary to integrate full localization.
