Small update

Happy Pride Month. Apologies that I haven't been working on the game for several months until last week.

For the v2022-06-04 update, I have focused more on player feedback (Give your feedback at https://hellist.com/feedback).

Updates:

Dashing now makes you dodge/invulnerable against non-ground hazards. Thanks r/_Der_Fuchs_ for the idea.
Dashing now costs mana. Thanks Professional Lich#3829's friend for the idea.
Reduce shot speed to make aiming more important than mindless, and slightly improved camera placement (based on mouse position). Thanks FruitLoops#9586 for the suggestion!
Items now have cooldowns and most of them cost mana. Also the dash ability is now part of Aka's Boot Item.

In the future:

Think about other unique/special types of items, and how items can be recharged.
Will add more different NPCs and rooms.

HELLIST Playtest is now live! (Free)

Hey everyone!

The first Playtest demo for HELLIST is out - play it free by clicking Request Access! For best experience, optionally wear headphones but it's not required :).

As it's in the early dev phase, there will be a lot of bugs and tweaking needed - so I will very much appreciate hearing your ideas, feedback, complaints and bugs via Discord https://hellist.com/discord! Thanks so much!

For fun, I've added a few Easter eggs, ordered from easiest to hardest:

Satan
Run from nightmares (hardest to find)

Hopefully the game will come out in a few years time.
