Ghostwire Tokyo is an interesting one.

It's through and through a japanese feeling game and I don't mean by that that it takes place in japan. The only games that I have gotten a similar feeling were the Yakuza/like a dragon games. The game mostly settles into the FPS category, but that would be a bit misleading as most players will be exploring Tokyo and hunting collectables for the majority of the time.... If that's your cup of tea. It is for me.

The spiders thread update introduced plenty of new side quests, new skills, new items and a new roguelike mode. All for free. This I think is the correct way to do DLC. Personally I dislike roguelikes, but plowed through it for the achievements.

Enemy variation is ok, but it still can get a bit repetetive at times.

DLC is only cosmetic so if that's your thing go for it, but you wont be seeing it outside of cutscenes. I mainly jumped around in a raccoon suit and that made the serious end game cutscenes amazing.

TL;DR Buy it if you like collectathons and japanese games. If you are looking for a shooter, maybe look elsewhere.

Wow. A very good game. The history is superb, the gameplay is good, although the combat is not the best of the game, is satisfactory when you dominate it. Many secondary missions (Some of them very very good). It is a great game in general terms.

Re-downloading after two years, this game was really good but a bit shorter than i liked and could use a SEQUEL, want a second dive into lifelike spooky Shibuya.

It's a good game but lacks something, runs and feels kinda meh... The spider thread mode achievements could burn in hell, so damn boring finishing everything in the game. Are you ubisoft?

Really bad game. It feels more like a 2013 release than something from 2022. Story is boring, the world is empty, the combat is decent, but it gets too repetitive after about an hour. Why can't Bethesda make good games?

I'm a collector, a ghost story lover and not that good of a fighter. Enjoyed every minute (maybe not for the boss fights) of the game. Very Japanese style game, where all the traditional ghosts, monsters, etc start roaming the city.
Beautiful scenes, tons of stuff to collect and also all these side quests to play around with. Loved collecting different things throughout the cities! Pity to hear from the other comments there will never be another sequel.
