Great characters, great music, great game.
STAAAAAAAAN & MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH

I really wanted to love this game. For a project mainly based on storytelling, this has some of the flattest writing that I have come across. There is not a single main character that isn't annoying - it feels like a young adult novel written by an older man who claims to be "hip" with the youngsters. All the dramatic moments fail to evoke any emotions, and the "consequences" of actions feel incredibly minimal. If the story isn't good, I need some solid game play - not a boring mini-game forced in every 20 minutes. Overall, an ambitious effort that falls completely short. 3/10

best story game on the whole steam, really enjoyable!

The early game trailer paints a vastly different picture than what this game actually is. This game is cringe inducing in its "political" statements. Its not a deep message, nor is it unique. The visuals look terrible, the writing is terrible, the reasons for the characters interacting makes no sense. Like why is this teenager talking to this 40 year old drunk man they never met before? Oh an then they play Soccer for some reason. I was really excited for this game but it really didn't meet my expectations.

I played this game for 8 hours and then unironically decided to go on a three months hitchhiking trip from Switzerland to Mauritania and back.

The game is okay.

Cool concept, but devoid of all nuance and feels like it was written by someone who has a very simplistic black or white worldview. Generally, your choices boil down to choosing between being a pacifist leftist, a far-left violent revolutionary, or you just refuse to have an opinion. The ruling regime in the game is cartoonishly evil and throws teenagers in concentration camps for attempting to leave the country (huh?). While some characters are written and voiced well, others are just plain annoying and/or super one-dimensional. This game feels like what a college student would imagine the USA would turn into after Trump won in 2016.

I won't be too mean to this game, it was a gift after all.
This game wants you to *think* it's a game about choices. There's these two people arguing, one man says the woman stole money from his office and turned off the security cameras, I thought, huh, okay, maybe she did. So I guess I have to question both of them, maybe he's lying and it was someone else, or maybe she's lying. I wanted to stop the argument and question them both, but the only dialogue options with the man are defending the woman who apparently stole. Before this, I was on a bus, some kid sat behind me, he starts talking to me, I really just want to bully the hell out of this kid, but I'm forced to do what he says and fix his tech thing, I wasn't given the option to say no, just forced to help him when I just wanted to throw him out the window. I also was stopped by a police officer, she put me into the back of the police car, and one of the wheels of the car was being weird, and I had to get out of the car and walk around to fix the car, here's the part I hate, I at first tried to run when she wasn't looking so I could escape, but nope! Invisible walls stopping me from leaving, I'm forced to fix this car and do as she says, I thought I was given a choice. I would've loved a thing where you have the option to run away, or just not talk entirely. In this game, the only thing you're choosing is how you're going to say it, you don't really get a choice on what you *want* to do.

The outcome is still the same no matter what you choose, you may want to say no, but the only dialogue options are yes.

The "reliving the experience of teens in retrospect" gimmick is neat, but the plot is very poorly written. I really did give it a fair chance, but I just couldn't get behind the writing at times, especially when I'm screaming at the characters to do the logical thing and then they do the dumbest thing possible five seconds later.

Funny how i have this on Epic Games platform, and Microsoft, and runs fine when i use those to play the game i just brought it on steam to get unlockable and boom crashes , seems to be a common thing with steam now , but i played same on epic games and Microsoft, and no crashes all in same night so can someone please explain to me why this game runs fine with no issues on other platforms apart from steam, i tested this myself and its fing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, guess im a get money back and stick with epic games version and Microsoft windows version , i would not recommend buying this on steam platform buy on epic instead or Microsoft for that matter because you will just have constant crashing running this game on steam version. I know because i have this game on other platforms, steam sort your ♥♥♥♥ out >:(
