Maine: WTF?
I finally got around to Maine Map.... okay WTF. I really hope the person(s) that created these maps were never allowed to touch a keyboard EVER, EVER again.

Let's see:
- supply shortages (limited supply depots) - check
- Road blockages with the supply points on OPPOSITE side of blockage - check
- Thin damn Ice, heck Yellowstone has nice ice roads... nope, thin ice a scout sinks into
- Watchtowers locked behind multi-layered missions: OK, really WTF?
- Broken Garage: actually if supplies were not so limited, a nice feature.
- WHY the <bleep> is there a factory built on the side of a cliff??????
- These maps seemed to be designed by some the the a$$hat modders from mudrunner that made impossible maps on purpose just to screw with people.

I am even "cheating" and using the very OP's Earthroamers and scouting is insane still.

So I am sure Maine falls into one of the hardest maps category.

a bit difficult but far from the hardest maps like Kola or Amur, Yukon and Wisconsin are somewhat hardish

They are outdone in mud and snow by anything that is lighter, including the CK 1500 and the Scout 800. They're also outdone by the CK 1500 at things that require extreme tilt tolerance. And breakover angles.

the only OP in the roamers is their radar, the real OP is the tatarin although no trailer hook so no external radar.
I do agree the Earthroamers - or rather the truck sized pickup base vehicle - are more decent scout trailer tractors then any smaller scout.

In fact when the Burlak came to the game i always dragged off scout trailers with that instead of scout cars, but it is jumpy and flips over easily on any surface except deep mud or snow. But now the Eartroamers are there, there is another decent option for surfaces other then deep mud and snow.

Too bad we can't remove the RV section from the base pickup vehicle. They would be even more OP and roll resistant.

I got pîssed off by ontario, got 3 more countries to complete one of them being ontario and the other the new map, but i can't finish ontario because i'm missing a resource.
Can't remember what it is but it is needed to turn in a quest and it doesn't reappear after restarting the mission.
Unless anyone knows how to open console and spawn an item i'm kinda stuck and not able to finish. :(

you need to explore to find items, maybe on second map.
Rules of thumb: explore, open warehouses, repair infrastructure

I never had a problem with "limited" supplies, probably because I explored the entire of the two maps and found where there were unlimited ones, or extra supplies.

I love the map Maine, not too harsh, but definetely more difficult than the average. I never had any problems with supplies, only with the ice parts on the 2nd map. My Caterpillar 745c had only one job: pulling all trucks through the ice on the western roads, back and forth and the logging missions were very demanding. In summary: a good mixture of not too much grinding and strategy. You had to place some fuel trucks all over the 2nd map, even after opening the gas station, like it.

just use the solid ice on the edges of the ice and you dont need the cat. do not drive too fast or the plates will separate and cause massive damage

explored both maps, litterally did every quest i could until i got blocked by that one i couldn't finish.
What might be possible is that a random picked it up, dc'd and the item is somewhere in forest left to be picked up again. I checked the map multiple times but i wouldn't have a clue where if it even is gonna pop up.
