If I purchase the game, can I continue from where I left in the demo? Can I uninstall the demo and continue from my save if I buy the game?

The first time Sir Brante encounters Sophia he has exactly two choices - let her get crushed by horses or push her to safety and get crushed by horses himself. The second time Sir Brante encounters Sophia she again needs his help, but he can't help her a second time if he didn't the first. So if he was too emotionally drained to react in time the first time she needed help he won't have the option of helping her the second time, years later after he no doubt developed as a person. I want to preface this that I played the demo with hidden consequences (as I believe it to be the proper way to play the game), and I absolutely loved it, but during my time playing it, I found that the mechanics of willpower and the lack of information from hidden consequences sometimes do not mix well together.
