Two questions about multiplayer

1. Does 12 players actually work locally? I have done 8 player local MP in other games before but that was with Xbox One controllers, but they all had hard limits of 8 controllers because of XInput limitations. Does Plunder Panic use DInput? Does anyone have any experience with this?
2. Can local players also play in online lobbies? As in having multiple players playing online from one PC?

Cabby - yes! You can play with 12 players locally. We have more information about this on our FAQ. https://plunderpanic.com/faq/

There are limitations of certain controller types that we cannot work around, but a combination of certain types of controllers (or all USB wired) will allow you for 12 locally.

As for online lobbies, you can have a maximum of 5 players join locally to a private room, or 6 can join a private party at the moment. We are hoping to lift that number soon, once some underlying systems are improved.
