I'm quite surprised they are making another one
I really enjoyed the first game. Hopefully, this one will be as good or better.

they arent, telltale games made the first one and they went bust, this one is developed by gearbox themselves so honestly im surprised its not an epic exclusive (it probably will be)

The talent that made Borderlands special has left the studio. BL3 is a perfect example. Gameplay is great, but the story and characters are not.
In current woke infested era I will not pre-order anything before I get some reviews from people I trust.

The first one was great, let's hope, it would be a shame
And what is it with the deluxe version btw, you get skins and money for a choice/qte game?
Why do I need ingame money for. Seems like a complete waste of 10 bucks.

the in game money and skins is for both editions. The deluxe only grants the original taletale game, for those who haven't played it.

Ouch. That's a huge bummer.

Borderlands three is basically an Ubisoft game with cell shading. The only real improvement I felt was in the auto-looting. Nothing to go nuts for.

Big red flag
I was so happy to see this title, but I changed my mind quickly. This is not a game by Telltale Games? Woooah, now i have doubts. The first ''Tales from the borderlands' was in my opinion one of the best titles of this particular developer, one of the best comedy games i have ever played. But naming this game like the previous one, despite the fact that the game is strictly unrelated to TT, already warns against buying. Hopefully the game will be good, but the Gearbox is hardly known for its good humor. According to them, claptrap is a funny character that tormented me while playing 3 consecutive Borderlands games.
Do you have similar feelings?

ps. Seriously? damn denuvo?
looks like pandering trash devoid of creativity.

Yeah I was excited about this until I noticed TellTale isn't the dev. Now it's in the "wait for reviews and/or sale" category. Or maybe it'll come up in my Humble Monthly, then it won't matter :3

is this confirmed?

The first Tales was tied for best Borderlands game and best Telltale game. I don't expect this one to live up to the original, but the fact that the original hasn't just been forgotten, but is getting a followup is something I'll be watching. There's a lot of plot threads from the BL series that I hope will be picked up by New Tales... but probably won't.

Telltale went under and the IP went back to these guys.
So this is all we were ever going to get. It's a pretty easy concept...so hopefully they can pull it off. I wouldn't call it a red flag...but I'd for sure take a watch and see approach...especially with their asking price lol.

Telltale is back and coming out with some titles like The Wolf Among Us 2 and The Expanse. They worked with Gearbox on the original Tales from the Borderlands....Unfortunately, they lost a bunch of their licenses.

The Original Tales from the Borderlands is back on Steam, which is good. I love that game.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. :steamsunny:
