Maybe because of a bad rendering of the game it could be, it has happened to me in other games

that is a scaling and fps issue
which game are you playing in the DE?

I used to work there, so yeah
most of the games in the DE are not revamped just put together and old bugs still exist

IF you are on win 11, there will be issues
but, you can stop this... by simple capping the fps to 59
and turning on vsync *depending on the mode you have for display,
if windowed turn it off if not on..
but the keys are

100% scaling only, no more (check in the os)
and 59fps max
dont go uncapped and expect these old suckers to render that..
