I play a lot of visual novels, and this is a really great one. Great art, music, and world building. Fully voice acted! I loved the D&D references.

Sometimes the banter with Kate got a little TOO much. Like, there would be a serious situation going on, and Stan and her would be telling each other jokes instead of doing something. Similarly, sometimes I wished Stan would treat things a little more seriously instead of giving constant snarky come-backs. This was a little frustrating, but admittedly the goofy behavior does fit a cheesy, campy superhero-themed visual novel. Lord Bedlam was very funny.

Another thing is that you HAVE to be a man named Stan. You can't be anyone else. You can't play a woman or non-binary person. This lack of customization wasn't a problem for me, but it is limiting and could be a problem for some people.

This VN is worth checking out, and I hope this studio makes more someday.
