Should I watch Ghostbusters 2?

Heard it's not super great but I wanted to see if I'd get anything more out of this game if I watched it.

I love GB II although some people dislike it. Still miles better than the films that came out after. It's still the best sequel.

Ghostbusters 2 has a baller soundtrack, and Viego The Carpathian is... well, he's a character. You'll be seeing him quite a bit hanging out downstairs next to Jeanne's desk and he has some interesting lines.

Basically, treat this game as Ghostbusters 3. That's what it essentially is.

Sure, it's a safe rehash of the first film's plot, but those of us who saw it as a kid loved it.

definitely give a go. the game bases a lot of its references and mechanics on the first two films, so if you haven't seen GB2 I'd say you're missing out. It's very similar to the first film, but if you liked the first film you'll like the second.
