Notice: No More Heroes 2 Status Update

We wanted to provide an update on the Steam versions of No More Heroes 1 + 2.

We are very much aware of the issues affecting this title since launch, and after over a year of trying to develop patches, we can report that we have brought the effort to address these issues in-house. This has delayed things and we apologize for the lack of communication up until this point, but rest assured that we will provide further information as soon as we are confident that we have patches in releasable shape.

I think I speak for most of the people who bought these atrocious rushjobs when I say it'd be way more easy to believe you if you had some sort of timeframe laid out for us to know when these patches are estimated to come out, because it's honestly pathetic at best and deceitful at worst that you as a publisher released clearly untested ports to Steam and then went radio silent for over an entire year as people constantly told you about the ridiculous amount of issues these two games have. The fact you can't play them offline despite nowhere on the product page saying it requires an internet connection should've been fixed shortly after release.

We really need a timeframe cause I’m getting constant crashes I can’t even get into the first ranking battle ffs and I’ve been waiting for months now to even play it

End of March, and still no word on when/if these patches are coming out. I think it's safe to say Xseed lied.

As of May 2023, the patch notes on both No More Heroes 1 & 2 are still 2021 ? what happen their so called announcement future patch promises ? no release date given ?
