Title, I understand there will be story but exactly how much story? How quickly does one get into the action

I brought my computer from my home, to my new home. I will not have internet for 2 weeks and figured it would be a good time to finish Nocturne. I have not uninstalled or changed anything about my install since I last played. I currently have 6+ hours in the game. When launching on a computer with no internet access, I get this message exactly: "Steam is currently in Offline Mode. For the first launch go in Online Mode. Select "Steam" in thw upper left corner, "Go Online...", connect to the Internet, and...
