Trying to play the game but can't

I have no idea why, but when the game launches, it runs like total ass and I don't understand why. It's so bad I can't even lower the music setting. It's not my computer or steam VR, literally just the game. Does anyone know what's up?

Are they ever going to fix the bug that occurs when looking down?

Frame rate tanks on decent settings regardless of hardware. They seem to have plenty of time to release dlcs.

Course Release & Game Updates

Standard 36 holes (18 easy, 18 hard) with themed lost balls and a commemorative putter.
Elvis-inspired Avatar cosmetics and Elvis' head (12 total items).
Original score by Chris Reyman featuring "The VLE Band”—live musicians performing a tribute composition highlighting the spirit of Elvis’ 60s/70s rock 'n' roll.
Interactable musical instruments and working course microphones.
Limited-time "Viva Las Elvis" Welcome Island decoration.
ICYMI: Our last mini-update introduced Slingshot Challenges on Tourist Trap, Cherry Blossom, and Alfheim! Our previous game update introduced the new ball sorting tray at the Welcome Island Shack, with by-course organization and a quick-select "Last Played" ball section.

Fixes

Our team has made adjustments throughout some of the DLC and base game to add quality-of-life updates and needed fixes, so that as we expand Walkabout we don't compromise on quality or polish. Among other fixes the most notable updates are:

Course record pop-up notifications should fire off properly.
Improvements for better score preservation upon a headset disconnect/rejoin in multiplayer rooms.
Golfers can restart a round more than once and play through normally.
Myst hole 9, where the bridge would not sync/un-sync properly in multiplayer rooms, should be properly updated and functional.

Buy & Play

Players must update to the latest 5.6 version of the Walkabout Mini Golf game app (regardless of if they purchase the latest DLC course) to ensure gameplay and multiplayer functionality.

Critical Error when opening up the game after the update.

Meta Quest one on Steam. Reinstalled still has error. tried other games working fine. Any ideas?

Anyone know if bundle prices are reduced if you own some items?

I am planning on buying the base game and if I like it then buy a bundle. Will the bundle price get reduced by the base game price if I own it? Thanks

A true staple in an VR library. I thought to myself "huh minigolf? That doesn't sound very cool" but damn was I wrong. The courses are dope, the collectibles are fun and most importantly the physics are exceptionally true to life. I don't know any game that does minigolf this good. GWYF, Tower Unite, and VRC minigolf pale in comparison.

The DLC model is also exceptionally generous. One person owning a dlc lets anybody in a lobby play it. They are also only $5 CAD a course which is an absolute steal for the amount of love and detail they put into them, including a bunch of BIG licenses that let them go wild (the wallace and gromit course is impeccable for example).

Pick it up if you have VR especially if you have friends to play with. The discord server for the game is also filled with really kind older folks whom I never would have interacted with in my life. What an absolute hidden gem of a game.
