Didn't even catch this, sort of lost hope and figured I was doomed. During the time period of this and now, I've actually factory reset my PC and surprise surprise it's still doing the thing. What's different though is that AMD Bug Report Tool pops up saying "AMD software detected that a driver timeout has occurred on your system. An issue report has be-" blah blah blah more stupid stuff. I've also tried launching it from cmd but I think I'm doing something wrong since every piece of media on how to launch a game through cmd has done jack or I'm just stupid.
This is what popped up:
Godot Engine v3.5.2.stable.official.170ba337a - https://godotengine.org
OpenGL ES 3.0 Renderer: AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics
Async. shader compilation: OFF
