Game crashes when loading saves
As the title says, the game freezes and shuts itself down, bringing me back to steam menu. Only the most recent saves work, and the game asks me If I want to play at "safe settings" after I launch it after a crash. It then starts with the lowest resolution 640xsomething and without fullscreen. But that doesn't help and the game crashes again when loading a save.
Please help.

After entering the commands /developer 1 and /logfile 2, clicking on the saves didn't work and the game wouldn't even start loading a custom save. I can't get the game to produce a crash after entering the commands.
