This Review is in response to Shaggy's Post, stating that there are Hidden software that comes with the game. I was gonna post this under his post as a commen. But it wouldnt let me. So im posting it here. There may have been others who said the same thing, but his post was the first that I saw.

Updated Removal Steps for Steam Users

Step 1: Uninstall SoulWorker via Steam
Open Steam.
Go to your Library.
Right-click SoulWorker and select Uninstall.
Confirm the uninstallation.
However, XIGNCODE3 files will remain on your system even after uninstalling the game from Steam, so follow the steps below to remove them manually.


🔍 Step 2: Delete XIGNCODE3 Files from the Game Folder
By default, Steam installs games in the following location:

Path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SoulWorker

Go to the SoulWorker installation folder.
Look for a folder named xigncode (or similar).
Delete the entire folder.

If the folder isn't there, check for hidden files:
Enable hidden files:
In File Explorer, click View > Hidden items.

If the xigncode folder isn't showing in your game directory or system folders, it's likely that the files are hidden or stored elsewhere. Here's how to find and remove any hidden XIGNCODE3 files on your PC.


Step 1: Search Your Entire PC for XIGNCODE Files
Press Windows + S to open the search bar.
Type xhunter1.sys or xigncode.
If any results come up, right-click the file and select Open file location.
Delete the files from their respective locations.



🔍 Step 3: Check System Folders for Residual Files
XIGNCODE3 may have installed additional files in your system folders.

Open File Explorer and go to:

C:\Windows\System32
C:\Windows\SysWOW64
Search for xhunter1.sys or any file/folder related to XIGNCODE.

If found, delete them.



🧹 Step 4: Clean the Registry (Steam Edition)
Even after uninstalling, some XIGNCODE3 entries remain in the Windows registry.

Press Windows + R, type regedit, and hit Enter.

Navigate to the following paths:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\xhunter1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\xigncode
Right-click and delete any of these keys if they exist.



🛡️ Step 5: Run a Rootkit Scanner
Since XIGNCODE3 behaves like a rootkit, running a rootkit scanner is highly recommended.

Recommended Tools:
Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit ( Temporarily Free): {I used this one, It'll give you a seven day free trial}

Download from the official Malwarebytes site.
Run a full scan and remove any threats.
GMER:

Download from gmer.net.
Run a deep scan to detect hidden processes or files.



🔄 Step 6: Reboot Your PC
After completing the steps, restart your PC to ensure all files are removed.

✅ Final Check (Important)
Press Windows + R, type cmd, and press Enter.

Run the following command:


"sc query xhunter1"

If it says:


"[SC] EnumQueryServicesStatus: OpenService FAILED 1060"

XIGNCODE3 is completely removed.


Note: That these are just the steps that i've taken to remove it.

Keep in mind that some games may no longer use XIGNCODE3 due to community backlash, so it's always best to check the game's recent updates or forums to confirm.

Its a Shame..I was actually somewhat looking forward to this game since they deleted the original. Mostly just looking forward to the character design's and to reminisce a time when I played this with someone I once carried about. F##in corrupt S### heads...

Thanks Again Shaggy for the warning. the though of someone or thing messing with my info bugs me. Privacy invasion or not, this thing still messes with your pc. (From everything I've read so far) Destroy it !!!

Literal malware.
changing the sensitivity in game changes windows sensitivity, now my mouse sensitivity feels off after god knows how long of built muscle memory and I can't remember what my windows mouse sensitivity settings were on originally, haven't touched them in a long time.

Ugly graphics.
Boring grind fest game.
♥♥♥♥♥ with settings on your PC it shouldn't have access to.
Don't touch this garbage.
