Objectively inferior game to MBAACC. Defense is op. aerial neutral is neutered. Combos are unrecognizable to the original game. Combo system is designed around rapid beat so much that it's impossible to do the same moves as in a grounded rapid beat if you turn it off. for example, in akiha's B rapid beat, if you press B twice, she does 5BB which is cancel-able into other moves, but if you turn off rapid beat, 5B has no second normal. feels like they wanted to make melty blood into UNI but even that would've been an improvement over this. missing no less than 5 characters that it doesn't make sense to omit, in order to add seiba and mash, and they added the stupid meme cat instead of a more important character like hime or nanaya or ryougi. art and sprites are fantastic. great soundtrack. just play the old one.

Very fun, Aerial Combat is abundant.
