The gameplay in general and the combat is great and the art style is also amazing...

..BUT:
-Resource gathering is mandatory but boring af and takes too much time overall.
-The town building/upgrading system is absolutely annoying, it takes real time to complete like in a mobile game.
-Same thing for processing your resources.
-You cant teleport to locations you already have been to.. always have to run around the complete map.
-Main City is way to big and everything is spread out so you have to run around even more all day long.
-You have to buy and decorate your "home/house" to get more storage space is just terrible.
-Your equipment breaks and needs to be repaired in a game with souls-like combat...
-Weapon balance is bad, some are completely broken and others feel useless and unplayable.
-Game seems to be poorly optimized; this is the only game where my PC struggles to keep 30 fps even at low settings.

Conclusion:
This game would be amazing without those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "mmo-like" and "mobile-game" "features" that are just extremely annoying, boring, time wasting and unrewarding but necessary to progress forward in the game.
PLEASE remove/change those "features" or at least make those things optional...

I love so much about this game. The art style, voice acting, story, tone, the direction, the POTENTIAL of the combat are all fantastic, but the performance -non stop stuttering and frame drops- currently for early access is immersion breaking. The combat feels like it is not as polished as a good soul-like should be. The parry window feels off. That could be because of the animations when the parry window is available feel out of sync, or perhaps I just need to get good.

I will keep my eye out for future updates and check back on the stuttering, overall performance, and combat issues I currently have with the EA. Looking forward to when I can change this review to positive, because there is such a great game here just needs to cook longer!

This game is dope

This is the game I never knew I wanted. Everything from the game play to the story is great. It does have a few issues and bugs due to it being early access. I would like to see the unique items buffed a little, for how rare they are they feel significantly worse than all the regular enchanted gear. Other than that the game is fantastic. I can't wait for the full release!

It's a fantasticly fun ARPG. Ignore the other reviews, as they're mostly parroting youtubers or twitter politics.
Big recommendation: make sure you upgrade your weapons. Dont horde your upgrade materials. Otherwise the enemies might feel a big overinflated.

great game that is too annoying difficult to be fun. not every game has to be dark souls.

"Verified" on Deck is a stretch, really. The game looks pretty ugly and still manages to lag which is sad considering that it looks fun! Do not buy on Deck unless you are desperate to play it.
