Just finishing off a play-through of Blasphemous...
...which I absolutely love, and am looking for a game to tide me over until Blasphemous 2 in August.

Ender Lilies looks like it also channels that dark-and-fallen-world vibe. I was just wondering if anyone here has played both, and if so, how do they compare/contrast? Did you enjoy Ender Lilies?

Thanks in advance!

Ender Lilies is much faster paced and has way harder boss fights. But the platforming is pretty easy as the main character is very agile and you get double jump right after the tutorial boss. The game also doesn't punish you for dying, you just respawn at the last "bonfire" with nothing lost. The fast travel is also unlocked very early on, in general the game is just not trying to be a d*ck to you. It's hard where it matters (boss fights, rooms with a lot of enemies etc) but it's not trying to annoy you or waste your time with needless backtracking etc.

Overall, I enjoyed Ender Lilies more than Blasphemous but YMMV.

Good stuff (that boss kinda reminds me of Quirce).

Oh, one more QQ: how does Ender Lilies play with Mouse & Keyboard? (Blasphemous handles extremely well, it's how I've been playing it.) Do I basically need a controller for Ender Lilies?

Just to answer my own question: M&K is fine, you can configure to be basically the same as in Blasphemous.
