Snipers need to be FIXED to move foreword
IDK why but the snipers sometimes can just shoot u through the wall. its very bad in vent purge modifiers and in lights out ones to, course u wouldn't even realize u cant hit him until ur downed. and if havoc is supposed to be a more challenging mode then i can see this being a bigger issue then needed. plz plz please. this game is to good. whenever it happens its like im a fish in a barrel and it infuriates me every time

snipers do what they should be doing, staying back and sniping you, they don't shoot through walls, but thread through cracks
The only problem I have with snipers is them being in Roiling Steel, a mission where we have to stop the train.

The game forces you to push onward with time limit but then spawn snipers at the first carriage where we landed on, sniping you across the entire map. They are so far away that you can’t even tag them. Even psyker’s brain rupture cannot lock on to them. That tells you how far away they are

IMO the only real issue with them is they can charge while looking at someone else who makes it to cover in time and snap over and 'instantly' shoot you.
havn't had it happen much really, but it was eye opening when I noticed that could happen.

I think Snipers are fine. There is one place on one map where they can aim through a solid object (it wasn't a wall) but you can't. I don't recall where it was, but that should be fixed. I don't think I've seen them aim through anything other than that.

Usually it can be hard to get them, because it's through a fence, then between pipes and what not. But there is still a Line-Of-Sight to them where you can shoot back.

I've notice this as well, and a lot of players struggle with it. Voidstrike staff makes this mission a cakewalk. :er_sweat:

Have to admit. It does blow my mind whenever it does happen.
I can definitely say that enemies CAN shoot you through solid walls sometimes. It might not always happen, but it can.

I think I have taken out one of those extremely long other side of train snipers before, but it is a pain since most of your attacks can't hit it, either due to your attacks just disappearing after a certain range or because of all the enemies in the way.

Thankfully, I'm usually a Psyker, so my barrier goes up soon as I see the sniper getting ready to shoot someone in the back. Or I throw up bonus shields to help with tanking the shot. Unless I'm an Ogryn. Then I just have to hope someone brought something to deal with it.
They work as intended, totally counterable with good movement and sharp shooting.
