If you have a way to play the original Xbox version, (it also works on the series X)
The original had some issues but they weren't game stopping like the PC version. I've played it on the series X, there're a few different issues different from the 2001 X but again, not game stopping.

Example, Kinshasa, top floor in suite where you must access the wall safe, on the 2001 X I hide in the bathroom with the door open waiting for the BG to 180 to creep out and into the office, (always left the bath rm door open, BG never commented on it) on the series X he does comment on it.

I had a net friend way back in the early 00s that said he was playing on the PS but I never thought to ask if it was the same version as the 2001 X, is it?

Xbox 360*, PS3 and PC are the same version.

The PC version is definitely different from the 2001 Xbox version. E,g, watch an Xbox and then a PC version of Iceland and or Kinshasa

Oh, sorry. I mean't 360's version. Xbox must be equal to PS2 version.

No sweat, so he was playing the same version, It's been so long ago I can't recall exactly what he contacted about only that it was something to do with the penthouse mission after making it to the top of the roof where the chopper lands.

In pretty much all my guides I have a clause where if you have a slick not in the guide that I will include it along with credit to the person providing it.

The Xbox version. Splinter Cell Double Agent wasn’t made by the same devs. Or it was and they made it purposely play like this so people went out and bought an Xbox and the Xbox version. Which I know is a thing. It does happen a lot.
