The ABEM mod is said to be unstable in some cases. I would recommend deleting every folder and file in the mod except 'sounds' and enabling that, as the sounds can be used on their own and are very good; the tank gun firing sound in particular, and the MG34 now sounds like a machine gun not a typewriter. I use this with both the donationware STA 3.X mod (now known as ITM) and the JCM which is based on STA 2.2, which may be what you're using.

In otherwise, just install JCM STA 2.2 version, it works :D

Make sure to use 4gb patch on both the starter.exe and shell.exe

Yes, this. I couldn't figure out why it kept giving me the same error. I don't recall the instructions saying that you need to run the 4GB patch AFTER the mods are enabled, but I may have missed it, I'll check...

Go to "common/Steel Fury Kharkov 1942/data/k42" and rename "loc_rus" to "loc_eng"
That should do it!

i was intslalled another battle effect mod but the game still show me error report can you help me?

FOR STA 3.4
I had the same issue. I BELIEVE I followed the instructions to a t but I still got the error. Then what I did was: After enabling the first 2 mods, I
1) Installed the Dec 2019, March 2020 and May 2020 updates, in that order
2) Replaced the starter.exe in the SFK42 main folder with the one in the STA folder
3) Ran the 4GB patcjh on both the starter and the shell, as describled in the instructions
4) Copied all folders EXCEPY the MODS folder FROM the STA folder TO SFK42's main, replacing whenever asked.
It appears to work now

Running the 4gb patch worked for me, too.
