Hihi, I'm trying to understand and play but I keep getting illogical check mates? Like a horse being next to my king and me loosing. Or another case where the queen gets clearly blocked, even in the past moves, by me but I still lose.

I love the game, but my biggest problem is that when i finish a game i don't know if I've won or not.

Im terrible at 2d chess and kind of just want to pass the time

Just got this game and have been playing against AI, when I'm in dimensional check it is very difficult to determine what valid moves are left.. when I'm in a losing position I usually end up having to resign instead of being told checkmate because the game won't let me submit any moves - yet offers no assistance as to what valid move I could possibly make in the given situation (which perhaps it should). I sometimes manage to get one more move by going back in time in a seemingly arbitrary way - rewindi...

I making dynamic list for my library and this game pops up for some very questionable tags. I haven't started the game really so maybe i just don't know. Gore, and dating sim are also on the store page, are the tags a mistake? Or have I not understood this game?...
