One-hand No Controller
Is this something that can be played one-handed with mouse and kb? I am down 2 fingers on my non-dominant hand and controllers on a game like this will make me motion sick. I have a Razer Naga 12-button mouse that I'm adept with. I can play Diablo IV with only the mouse, but I'm not sure about something like this game.

If you are comfortable using your working fingers on the non dominant hand for movement (WASD) style or otherwise, then i dont see why you couldnt just map every other function like dodge/projectile/parry/heal/lockon etc to the mouse naga buttons.

If you were extremely adapted to doing things one handed, then sure it is also possible to WASD move via naga mapping, whilst also using the mouse movement to pan camera, and also mapping the other functions to the remaining naga buttons.

It really just depends on your adaptability to your hardware.

You could always start with a mechanically simpler souls game, as this one is a lot more fast-paced regarding combat and precise parrying, and see if you get on. Although perhaps this might be one of the cheapest entries compared to souls/sekiro/elden ring etc.

It's perfectly doable though, so just try it out and GIT GUD as they say :)

If you've never played a Soulslike before, I wouldn't recommend starting with Thymesia, as it's VERY demanding of dexterity. I've been gaming since childhood, and I still struggle to respond fast enough at the ripe old age of 28. I suggest starting with a more deliberately-paced Soulslike, such as Dark Souls, Elden Ring, or The Surge.
