Dark souls meets fighting game. Honestly my all time favorite souls-like. It's challenging, but offers so much combos and weapon possibilities and builds that it makes it easy in a way (and super super fun)!! Great armor and fashion, the one of the best character customisors I've seen, and hot yokai women to dance with <3

Call me filtered or tell me to git gud or whatever. This game is simply an exercise in frustration and requires studying this game like you're preparing for a university exam to understand its mechanics. WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION is thrown at you in walls of text and there are like 15 skill trees, 3 forms of leveling up, tedious crafting mechanics, ridiculous amounts of items and loot to sift through, and I haven't even scratched the surface of all the extraneous combat and magic mechanics. You will still be doing tutorials 20 hours into the game, and you will be spending your time browsing menus the whole way through.

Hitboxes are some of the worst I've seen. You will shoot arrows into open air and they will still collide with a wall 3 feet away. Grabs are telegraphed and yet enemies will still pick you off the ground from downtown, behind their backs, or even through walls.

Colors are all muted like a typical Souls style game because that's so gritty and edgy and we can't have anything looking beautiful in our spr srs games. Everything is just intentionally dark and ugly in this game, from the desolated maps to the creepy enemies. Maps are recycled for mini gauntlet style missions to give the illusion of more content. And if you are looking for a good story (or even just a competent one where you can actually understand what's going on), look elsewhere. In typical Japanese style, everything is a demon or at least half-demon, including your own character.

The one major point in this game's favor is that Nioh 2 has one of the best character creation tools out there. Really puts Cyberpunk's restrictive character creator to shame.

Honestly Team Ninja has gone way downhill since the Xbox 360 days. Dead or Alive 6 lost its budget for this annoying game to exist.

The game is crushing after second boss almost always. I tried set graphics on lowest settings, but it does not have effect. In my opinion, I do not recommend this game,it is expensive and defective.

First one was much better story wise, better skill tree and no ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pokemon soul mechanic to rng for good bonuses and useful attack soul.
Also mute character for the sake of just adding character customisation is a bore in this mute characters filled souls genre.

If you played the first Nioh you pretty much played every other game made by Koei. This and Wu Long are just reskins with 1-2 "mechanics" added to have a tiny difference.

It's a good game, but it keeps stuttering for me and it pisses me off.

Essentially a more difficult Dark Souls or Sekiro, with better multiplayer and a transmog system.

The character creation is 10/10.

This game is like the baby of monster hunter and souls game. I play it with my boyfriend and we love it so much.
