Game keeps crashing to desktop with no errors. Just bought it too...
Anyone have any fixes?

I've tried.
1. Rolling back drivers, trying new and old stable ones.
2. Turning DLSS off and on, borderless and full screen.
3. Turning off all background task and no overlays being used.
4. Allowed it through security.
5. Turning settings to potato
6. Tried playing offline only with no luck
7. Limited FPS to 60.
8. Running as admin and non admin
9. Googling the problem across google with no fixes.
10. No overclocks being used.

Specs
3080
Ryzen 5600x
32GB DDR4 RAM
Installed on SSD
Resolution: 3440x1440
I'm playing the game with a Xbox controller.

Turns out playing online was crashing it...

I know activating the EGS crap crashed my game. Deactivating it fixed it. I can play online as long as that option is not ticked.

I have had it off, but REALLY want to play online for some bosses so I'm out of ideas.

Well, if you launch "Event Viewer" (NOT AN ONLINE INSTALLER, IT IS A NATIVE WINDOWS APP).

Look up errors/critical error events, sort by time (most recent) and look for nioh2.exe and whatever errors event that come up around it.

Odds are it should tell you the failing modules and/or processes along with the relevant (but annoyingly useless) error code unless you're a windows expert (or using a search engine is as your friend).

I never knew I could see the errors like this, it's very helpful I solved my blue screen Kernel error on the side with it. It said like GPUID:600 which said was a driver error so I rolled back like WAY BACK to 471.41 Nvidia driver and I was able to play online and got past the mission I crashed on every time offline, but now I could get past it while being online and finished it I ran it twice to check and no crashes so hopefully that was the fix. Thank you

Update: seems to have fixed it yeah I get crashes on some other games from being on old unstable driver, but at least I can play Nioh 2 now!

Glad to have helped, but I find it really strange you need a GPU driver version that old to get the game to work.
Personally I am on 552.22 with a nvidia RTX 3070m laptop.

Nevermind game still crashes if not more now, I even tried 4 more drivers. I spent a hour downloading 1.26 patch of the game and that still didn't fix it I just give up at this point. Exclusively Japanese PC games and ports are my least favorite due to this very reason.
Are you wiping the old drivers before installing the new one? It can leave a buggy mess otherwise. Display Driver Uninstaller (freeware)

Yeah I use DDU before trying each one.

I reinstalled windows, no crash yet but I bet it's going to again.
Its so strange to see someone with those specs having problems with the game tho..
I'm with a normal 1650 and the game runs fine... One thing that for some reason happened to one of my friends is that the overlay of either discord or steam, makes the game to instant crash to desktop.. Or if they alt tab, the game crashes..
Also, have you tried other resolutions?

I've tried everything you can imagine in a fix for a game lol but the windows reinstall seems to have put me on a good no crash streak.

I literally pulled my pc apart, cleaned it, reseated everything, reinstalled windows and it seemed fine, but prior to that I did memory checks on the SSD and the RAM, SFC/DISM command lines, observed gpu/cpu usage and temps, undervolted tried over 8 drivers with DDU in each one, no overlays. But now that it works I have it on 60 fps, no DLSS, effects low and it's not crashed once SO even though I want DLSS for the AA effect I AM NOT TOUCHING ANY SETTINGS LMAO It's in offline mode every time for some reason, but prior to the crashes offline mode had more success than online in not crashing so I'll just tough out every boss I come across.
