Outside of buying the game, what else can we do to offer monetary support? I love the game, and I’d like to see more.

Is it a bug or do I need to do something specific to receive one, when I purchase new land which have Tulips on it? I don't remember how many years I've played the current save, but I've researched every technology and upgrade from Middle-Age so it can't be that I'm just unable to build them yet....
