Might be weird to other people to say this about a racing game, but I became a GRID fan because of Ian Livingstone's music, and I've been a fan since the first GRID's release in 2008, when I was 7 years old. I do not care about driving mechanics, crash model, story, all that could be the worst thing imaginable, but if it had music composed by Ian Livingstone, it automatically would be a 10 in my book. This isn't to say that any of those things are bad here, I'm just saying it's already absolutely great because Ian made music for it. To be honest, the main motivation behind my purchase of this game was to extract the tracks and make mixes for personal listening, and I think this entry in the franchise has the best music from Ian yet, I would even say that, in my opinion, the Razor's Edge remake that came with Rise of Ravenwest is Ian Livingstone's magnum opus to date. I might be obsessed with the music from this game, because at this point it's the only thing I listen to. aside from GRID 1 and 2's tracks (which are just more Ian Livingstone).

I know that Mark Willott also made music for this game, and the tracks are also good, Nate Unbound is one of my non-Ian favorites too, I'm just saying Ian has been here from the beginning, and I'm a fan of GRID because of him, and if Codemasters would drop him for some reason, I would honestly stop buying these games (so please Codies, Ian truly carries this franchise for me, absolutely get him on board for the next entry if there will be one). There's also one track that was made by Ian Livingstone's son, Ethan, and it's one of the best tracks in this entire game, so he also has a seal of quality from me (for all that's worth). For the longest time I thought that I was literally the only one on this planet to think this way about this franchise, but after Legends released now two years ago I discovered that there are more people like me thankfully,

I know I'm probably weird for liking a racing game mainly for its music, but you can't disagree that if ranking the racing franchises for its music, GRID would always take the first place. Me becoming emotional over the music is also probably weird, but when I first heard Off the Grid and noticed the GRID 2 theme bit, I legit cried, as I did when Rise of Ravenwest first released and I heard the first game's remixes. So from that 7 year old in 2008 - genuinely thank you for still making these gems, and still having Ian Livingstone make music for them.

ITS GOOD

Whenever I saw some online players joining the match, then racing against me, I would suddenly realize that I was not only playing with AI, and this feeling was very good. Though some online players were too good and let me feel very hard to beat them, I still totally agree that the gaming experience is great.

I also love the graphics. When the matches are in rainy weathers, the graphics look especially very good.
