New Screamer Update
I’ve been really enjoying The Outlast Trials so far.

But with the new screamer update, I gotta say, I’m not feeling it. I’ve always found screamers to be a cheap way to scare players, and for me, it kind of ruins the vibe.

Does anyone know if this is just a temporary thing for Halloween or if it’s here to stay?

They're here to stay.
sadly they're here for good,I gotta say, they become annoying past the 10th time you see them. Not even scary, just annoying.

They only appear in the halloween trials and when you dont have full sanity

They are annoying when you are being chased by enraged deadly prime assets in bad trips trials. The animation slows you down for half a second, but that's enough for them to catch up with you, then lunge towards you.

That's why I will be more caution when opening doors, preferably not closing any doors myself, when my sanity is not full.

Also, smashing door against x-pops to stun them briefly will fail under this circumstance.

This update does change my strategy a little bit, and add up some small limitations.
I personally love them and hope they are here to stay in some regard.

atm they seem to happen no matter what.
I think it would be best if they ONLY show up when you are NOT at full sanity OR if the paranoia modifier is present / hallucinations such as within the geister program.

having them 24/7 would be a bit much and grow boring.
The screamers are just annoying and they don't really make sense. The game is pretty realistic for the most part. The screamers almost seem supernatural.
